Welcome to the Faculty of Dentistry at The Universitas Brawijaya!

All Praise and Gratitude to Allah SWT, the Almighty God, for His grace and guidance that enable us to strive and carry out a great role, to improve the nation’s oral health status through quality dental education, delivering high impact research and innovation, and dedicated to nation’s development through various oral and dental health care community services and outreach programs.

I am pleased to welcome you to the Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Brawijaya (FoD UB) website. You can find the latest information on the programs, services, and opportunities that differentiate FoD UB from other dental schools. I would like to express my gratitude to our Universitas Brawijaya’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR, M.S, for his tremendous support and partake in our journey to excellence.

Currently, the progressive development of “Digital Scientist” has influenced many changes in behavioral dan medical preferences. One of the keys to success in facing these changes is by continuously improving our performances and developing innovation that can create much better-added value. We strongly believe that our future accomplishment is due to our perseverance in creating “Scientist’s Spirit” by incorporating effective, efficient, professional and accountable administration. Moreover, we are committed  in making creative innovations through various collaboration and partnership in order to uphold academic atmosphere and good working environment, to further improve the quality of FoD UB.

Our educational programmes leading to a Bachelor’s degree, provide a rich array of opportunities in dental health education and in close collaboration with several affiliated primary health care services and hospitals in Malang, East Java. We promote a culture of teamwork, integrity, professional behaviour, entrepreneurship, and foster learning and discovery. We nurture life-long learning through various student-centered learning activities, dental health care services to the community and also provide continuing dental education for dentists, dental specialists and dental hygienists through several scientific conferences. In addition, our research opportunities span across the scale from basic to clinical dental and oral craniofacial sciences, biomedical sciences, social medicine, and nanotechnology in dentistry.
